Why Narnaul
The truth is that the selection of Chwan Rishi's meditation land was made by God before my birth. In 1985, I worked as the principal at Hasanpur School for one year. During those days, I performed rigorous meditation in the Aravali hills, staying awake all night. During this meditation, divine powers appeared to me several times, warning me that this would be my place of work in the future. Ramakrishna Paramahansa, Swami Vivekananda, and my Guru were guiding me in subtle form.
From 1986 to 2010, while working as a geography professor in Delhi, I established Vivekananda Ashram in 1988 and an orphanage.
I told my Guru that I had only two desires in this world: to see the Vivekananda Memorial and to visit the Kali Temple in Calcutta. On my insistence, he said I would understand everything in due time. That time arrived when I reached the Vivekananda Memorial in Kanyakumari on January 5, 2010. A great idea was born. On reaching the memorial, I felt restless for half an hour as if a fish were out of water. A large crowd gathered to see me. In the evening, when I reached the Vivekananda Center, I asked the officials who had established the Vivekananda Memorial. They told me that this great work was done by Eknath Ranade. After that, I went to Eknath Ranade's memorial with my children. In the evening, I bought Eknath Ranade's autobiography and read it overnight. Eknath Ranade's spirit seemed to be telling me, "Why can't you establish the Kanyakumari of North India in the Aravali hills?" The divine powers that had guided me in subtle form in 1985 had now manifested in reality.
After returning from Kanyakumari, within just six months, land was purchased in the Aravali hills, and on November 27, 2011, the land was consecrated, and work formally began on Vivekananda Shaktipith (the Kanyakumari of North India). This place is full of natural beauty, surrounded by the Aravali hills, which captivate the minds of all visitors.
