Swami Vivek Bharati
Swami Vivek Bharti is a young monk. While fulfilling the complete duties of a householder monk, due to his asceticism, he still works 18 hours a day at the age of 65. He is dedicated to giving a new direction to the nation by sacrificing everything he has. He is a man of simple and pure nature, transcending caste, religion, social status, wealth, and poverty. He sees the divine in every living being. He worships the service of humanity and divinity. For the past 45 years, he has been serving pure nationalism and humanity by forgetting all discrimination. Influenced by Swami Vivekananda since his student days, he resolved to create new institutions for the nation. In his youth, he established the Swami Vivekananda Ashram in Delhi in 1988 and expanded it into an orphanage.
Humility, sacrifice, asceticism, resolve, detachment, and love for the nation are the core principles of his life. On January 5, 2010, during a trip to Kanyakumari, he took a vow and an oath at Vivekananda Rock to establish a Kanyakumari of North India in the Aravalli hills for the youth of the 21st century.
Today, that dream has taken shape on 16 acres of land due to rigorous meditation, hard work, and dedication. In 1985, Swamiji undertook nine months of intense meditation at the Tapobhumi of Chyawan Rishi in the Dhousi mountain range - the play of nature is unique, only that power is a witness to this land.
Exactly 28 years later, after leaving the working land of Delhi, the Vivekananda Shaktipith, Kanyakumari of North India, was established at the Tapobhumi of Chyawan Rishi. This institution will serve as a milestone in the service of the nation in the coming times. My entire life is dedicated to this Tapobhumi.
